2008 Woodie Awards
As soccer, golf and volleyball prepare to open UW-Whitewater's 2008-09 athletics campaign Friday, one can't help but reflect on 2007-08.
There are 16 intramurals slated for the fall semester, with a Sept. 9 deadline approaching for sand volleyball, softball and flag football. All registration forms must be turned into the Recreation Sports Office, Room 100 in the Williams Center along with the entry fee.
The Williams Center and its fitness programs can help new students make the transition without breaking the bank. From 9 a.m. today until Sept. 9, any student with a valid UW-Whitewater ID can use the Williams Center facilities free of charge.
Before the 2008-09 sports season begins, let's take a look back at how the Warhawks succeeded last year.
