How did it feel to win the 110-meter hurdles at the Oshkosh Invitational to qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship?
It was nice to win my first meet back this outdoor season, and I was glad to have gotten the time that I did, but I'm still looking to improve on it and hopefully peak at nationals.
Do you have any pre-game rituals, or what do you do to get ready for a big competition?
I like to blast music during the first half of my warm up to shut everything else out and just focus on my race. Then about 20 minutes before my race, I take off the headphones and goof around with the other guys and basically joke around as much as I can. I know they're polar opposites, but the first half gets me focused and the second part gets me relaxed and not so nervous. Plus, it's more fun that way.
What's your favorite food to eat?
My favorite food is pasta, pizza or subs. Really, I just love food all together.
Do you have a favorite movie?
It's not really a movie, but I'd have to say the HBO series "Band of Brothers
