Tuesday night held the final installment of the Iron Chef of Whitewater Dessert Challenge, sponsored by the Residence Hall Association. Students challenged each other for first place, each bringing their own delicatessen to the table.
Spring break, two words that will make any college student smile and have a few minutes of blissful thought before having to trudge through homework and school activities again. This one-week break makes all the stress of the semester slow down. You stop thinking about exams, papers, grades, homework and your GPA and look forward to laying about, doing nothing.
No matter if you are flying 30,000 feet above the ground, tanning on a sunny beach, or peacefully relaxing at home on your week off, spring break is the prime time to set aside that long-winded textbook and read something more your style.

Last Monday Jitters Coffee Shop held the first Poetry Slam. From 7-9 p.m., five poets read their poems. To coordinator Damontae January's dismay, many of the other expected poets never arrived.
