Off-campus senators elected during Whitewater Student Government meeting

Whitewater Student Government elected Timothy Lea, junior, and Jackson Simon, junior, as off-campus senators Monday night. Three UW-Whitewater students were in competition for the spots, Jackson, Simon and Lucas Renz, freshmen. After all three boys gave a speech about their qualifications and were asked questions, Lea and Simon were elected the two spots.

Jesse Gamache's friends share memories

Jesse Gamache was an only child, but he had brothers just the same. Gamache, who died in a car accident on Jan. 9, is remembered by his friends as an easy-going guy who had your back. Andy Fassbender, a UW-Whitewater sophomore, was one of Gamache's best friends since fourth grade, and his roommate this year.
