Q: How long have you been participating in gymnastics?
A: 16 years.
Q: How did it feel to break the school record for the balance beam in just your first event as a Warhawk?
A: It was an amazing feeling. I was nervous, it was the first meet, and I also haven't competed in two years. There was pressure. So, it was an amazing accomplishment, and I hope to break my own record later this season.
Q: How many records do you think you'll break in the next three years?
A: All of them! No … kidding, I don't know. Hopefully I'll keep breaking the beam record. I also want to break the floor record, and eventually try at the all around.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: Place first at nationals in floor and balance beam.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Ice Cream.
Q: If an actress had to play you in a movie, who would it be?
A: Miley Cyrus.
Q: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
A: Coaching or owning my own gymnastics academy.
Q: What do you do to prepare yourself for gymnastic events?
A: I listen to Eminem's "Lose Yourself." It gets me pumped.
Q: How do you balance schoolwork and playing in a sport?
A: Study tables.
Q: What's one unique thing about yourself that no one knows?
A: I was homeschooled my sophomore and junior years in high school so I could train eight hours a day.
