Classes were cancelled Tuesday because of an ice storm. Although some finals may have been scheduled, it is against university policy for exams to be given on the last day of classes, Provost John Heyer said.

Sara Kuhl, director of public information, said the sidewalk crew would be unable to keep up with clearing the sidewalk in the storm.

Announcements regarding class cancellation will be sent to UW-Whitewater e-mail addresses.
