Warhawk volleyball team sweeps the competition to reach Sweet 16

The Warhawk volleyball team swept Concordia-Moorehead University and Bethel College in the opening rounds of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Volleyball Championship Tournament to reach the Sweet 16.
In its win against Bethel, sophomore Kelly Sorenson led the 'Hawks with 13 kills, while senior Abby Schultz totaled 12. Schultz also paved the way in the team's victory over Concordia-Moorhead, tallying 14 kills and 18 digs.
"In order for us to go far, we have to play very consistent and steady," Head Coach Stacy Boudreau said. "I feel very comfortable with how our team is playing, and believe we can go far."
The 'Hawks play in the regional championship against the host school, the University of St. Thomas (Minn.), today at 7 p.m. in St. Paul, Minn.
