Spring Break
A UW System policy revision committee recently released a proposal to modify Chapters 17 and 18 of the UW System's laws.
Chapter 17 covers student nonacademic disciplinary procedures, and Chapter 18 covers conduct on university lands.
Back in October, "Maxim" magazine named actress Sarah Jessica Parker the "unsexiest woman alive." The magazine went so far as to liken Parker's face to that of a racehorse. The "Sex and the City" actress recently told "Grazia" magazine the poll hurt her feelings, and she was "filled with rage and anger."
With roughly six weeks left in the spring semester, we are quickly approaching the end of our school year. The weather will start getting warmer, and things will start to turn green. As students we need to stay focused.
What if I said there's a place where you're free to meet, converse with or challenge anyone regardless of age, economic status, physical attractiveness or intellect? It's a place where gravity is suspended and physical limits are absent and a place you can leave and return to at any time. Would you believe me?
I have worked in the hospitality business for quite a few years now. I've seen every kind of customer there is. I've waited on the nicest and the meanest people you'll ever meet. With all the customers I've seen, none are more surprisingly cheap than college students.
