UW-Whitewater freshman Brandon Boaz, 19, of Dousman was killed in a car accident Friday night in Palmyra. The accident also claimed the life of a 68-year-old woman.

According to authorities, Boaz's Ford Thunderbird was travelling westbound on Highway CI when his vehicle left the roadway. After re-entering the roadway, his car slid sideways across the road into the eastbound lane striking a Toyota Camry. A third car, a Toyota truck, then hit the Camry.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m., at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 4 - 6 p.m.

The Royal Purple will have more information as it becomes available.
