Abstract:
Interim Chancellor Richard Telfer said the university is working on cleaning up the area, and no student is in danger of inhaling asbestos....
TWO CONFLICTING REPORTS. WHICH ONE IS RIGHT? EITHER THE ASBESTOES DID NOT GET OUT OF BUILDING OR IT DID?????
We hope to reopen Esker Dining Hall Monday, April 21, at the earliest. After the blast, the air quality in Esker was tested and was found to be clean. However, the dining hall has been closed because asbestos was found near the building's intake vents
"It is unlikely that much asbestos got out of the building," Telfer said. "We had people come in and check the air quality in Esker and everything was OK."
