In my opinion, it is important that we keep a close eye on the flu. However, we do not need to be concerned. This is nowhere near as bad as the Spanish flu in the 1910's and researchers have reported that this flu is no worse than the regular flu.

I do not think UW Whitewater should be closed down if cases are reported here. Regardless of where you are, you are still as likely of getting it in the grocery store or movie theater as sitting through your long lectures. It would be nice to not have to go to classes, but you would lose out on money that you've spent.

Vaccines are currently being made, but it's going to make breakfast a little more expensive. Expect egg prices to skyrocket because eggs are needed to incubate the vaccines.
