Joey was the most wonderful person I have ever met. We all miss him so much, and can't believe this. He is dearly loved and will be missed forever.

I feel that the Royal Purple did not handle this unfortunate event very well. They took a long time to announce to the campus community that no foul play was involved in the death of one of their own. They then littered their website with posts from their own alumni backing up the professionalism of their paper, on the bottom of an article talking about someone's death! It is so sad that this happened at UWW. I remember walking by the cemetery where Joey died almost every day. I am praying for Joey, his friends and family. Losing someone when they are so young is a really difficult thing to deal with.

Joey was a good person and sang as a cantor at our church, helped out with pancake breakfasts to benefit the school, or wherever his help was needed. I know he would have been successful. I am in shock and sad that he is gone; I don't want to believe it's true. I pray for Joey, his family, and friends that mourn him.

Joey was such a sweetheart. He used to work for me at a restaurant. He was always willing to work harder and harder than everyone else and went above and beyond. I can't believe this happened to someone so young. I am shocked and dismayed at this news, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Joey will be missed dearly...
