The Royal Purple is the weekly student newspaper for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and was originally established in 1901.
The Royal Purple has a circulation of 7,000 issues, reaching a large percentage of the 12,000 students, faculty members and staff at the university, as well as members of the community surrounding the campus. We are thankful for the interest and the support of our loyal readers and advertisers.
The Royal Purple is printed by Community Shoppers Inc. of Delavan, WI. Single copies are available on campus and in the community for free. Additional copies are available for $1 each at the Royal Purple office. Subscriptions are available for $20 per semester.
