All-star casts account for a lot of movies these days. "Burn After Reading," the newest film from directing duo the Coen brothers, has plenty of big names attached, but not enough to keep the story afloat.
Starring George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich and Brad Pitt, "Burn After Reading" is the story of two remarkably stupid gym employees, a womanizer, a self-absorbed CIA analyst and the trouble they and the people in their lives get into.
The Coen brothers, famous for works such as the award-winning "No Country for Old Men," use "Burn After Reading" as a change to enjoy screwball comedy again. While the story drags along slowly at some points, the comedic abilities of Pitt and Clooney make light of particularly terrible situations.
Leave your brain at the door folks because this is a movie worth seeing, but not one that will cause you to walk out of the theater thinking.
